Because of my own difficulties with vitiligo, acne, and vitamin deficiencies, I (Keira) have a great deal of experience with skin conditions and concerns related to self-confidence. I have also been manufacturing speciality cosmetics for people with visual differences for over a decade - consisting of pigment mixing and formulations etc, which is very simular to skin, scar and stretch mark camouflage application - so it was natural progression to move on to something more permanent. I understand the significance of feeling good about how you look.

I've done a lot of skin camouflage tattooing on my own skin and have tried every trick in the book when it comes to hiding my vitiligo. Since I enjoy learning new techniques to improve my abilities, this aids in the perfecting of my craft. As a teacher, I'm still constantly researching, learning, and finding ways to evolve which helps my pupils too! …

I’ve always been a “if you want something done, do it yourself” type of person, which reflects in my field of work (why buy the other makeup products on the market when they don’t contain enough pigment to cover my skin when I can make it myself?) type of thought process!
