Mesopeel MD Oxyage – Brightening Anti‑Aging Peel

the best anti aging chemical peel for fine lines wrinkles and brightening dull skin

A glowing, youthful complexion is just a peel away. Whether you’re noticing fine lines, uneven tone, or just a general loss of vibrancy, Mesopeel MD Oxyage can help. This advanced chemical peel is an anti-aging, brightening treatment formulated to breathe new life into lackluster complexions.

Mesopeel MD Oxyage is a comprehensive rejuvenation peel that targets multiple signs of aging and fatigue in the skin. Our clients love the Oxyage peel because it delivers noticeable improvements in texture and radiance without the prolonged downtime of more aggressive procedures. Here are the key benefits you can expect:

Smooths Fine Lines and Wrinkles: As an anti-aging peel, Oxyage helps to soften fine lines and improve skin texture. The 30% TCA (trichloroacetic acid) in the formula stimulates collagen production and resurfaces the skin, which can diminish the appearance of fine lines and even shallow wrinkles over a series of treatments.

  1. Refines Pores and Improves Texture: This peel is excellent for minimizing enlarged pores and smoothing rough skin. By retexturizing the surface and removing dead cell build-up, it leaves your complexion silky-smooth. It’s even noted to be great for acne scars and “closing” the look of pores on the skin, making it a versatile option for those with past acne marks or uneven texture.

  2. Oxygenates and Revitalizes Skin: True to its name, Oxyage has an oxygenating effect. The unique combination of TCA with hydrogen peroxide in the formula drives a reaction that infuses the skin with oxygen and promotes circulation, resulting in a fresh, vibrant appearance. Dull, tired skin is literally awakened you’ll notice a healthy flush and plumpness post peel.

  3. Antioxidant Protection: Oxyage doesn’t just peel – it heals. Ingredients like chlorogenic acid and amino acids provide antioxidant and regenerative benefits, helping to combat free radicals and soothe the skin. This means while we’re stripping away old, damaged layers, we’re also fortifying the newer skin underneath for resilience.

  4. No Age Limit & Suitable for All Skin Types: This treatment is flexible – it can benefit a wide range of ages and skin types. Whether you’re in your late 20s wanting to preempt early signs of aging or in your 50s aiming to restore glow and firmness, Oxyage can be tailored to you. It’s effective on light and medium skin tones; for deeper skin tones, we proceed with care (due to the strength of TCA) but the inclusion of kojic acid helps reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.

  5. Quick Results, Minimal Downtime: Many clients see an immediate radiance boost after just one Oxyage peel a few days after treatment, as the superficial dull skin sheds, a brighter complexion shines through. Despite being a potent peel, the downtime is relatively low (see FAQs). You get significant results more commonly associated with stronger peels, but without a lengthy recovery. It’s an efficient way to rejuvenate your face (or even neck and décolletage) with little interruption to your daily life.

  6. Brightens and Evens Skin Tone: Oxyage contains kojic acid and other brightening agents that fade dullness and pigment irregularities. It unifies your skin tone and restores luminosity, giving you a youthful glow. Stubborn sun spots, age spots, or patchy discoloration become less visible with each session.

The cost of a single peel is £95, but we do have package deals and discounts available for treatment plans!

Benefits of Mesopeel MD Treatment

  • Mesopeel MD Oxyage is an ideal treatment if you:

    • Feel your skin looks dull or tired: If your complexion has lost its glow due to stress, lack of sleep, or environmental damage, Oxyage can instantly revitalize it. This is the go-to brightening facial for clients who want to combat dull winter skin or post-summer sun damage.

    • Are starting to see signs of aging: Fine lines around the eyes or mouth, mild wrinkles on the forehead, or a bit of sagging? This anti-aging peel helps boost collagen and improve those early aging signs, making it great for those in their 30s, 40s, and beyond aiming for a more youthful look.

    • Have uneven skin tone or mild hyperpigmentation: Sun spots, melasma patches, or general blotchiness can be stubborn. Oxyage’s pigment-fading ingredients (like kojic acid) gradually lighten those imperfections for a more even tone.

    • Struggle with enlarged pores or residual acne marks: Large pores and superficial acne scars (like little depressions or rough patches) can improve with Oxyage. By effectively resurfacing the skin, it smooths out uneven areas. It’s a nice option if you’ve had acne in the past and now mainly deal with the aftermath (scars, redness, leftover marks) rather than active breakouts.

    • Want results without invasive procedures: Not ready or willing to try lasers or injectables but still want noticeable anti-aging results? Oxyage is a non-surgical, non-injectable solution that can refresh your face in a natural way. It’s simply a topical treatment, yet because it’s a medical-grade peel, the outcomes are significant.

    • Are preparing for a special occasion: If you have a wedding, reunion, or event coming up and you want to look your absolute best, an Oxyage peel (or a short series of them) can be a fantastic prep to ensure your skin is smooth and radiant. Just make sure to time it appropriately (we generally recommend your last peel be about 7-10 days before the big event to allow any peeling to finish).

    • Seek maintenance of youthful skin: Perhaps you already have good skin and want to keep it that way. Doing an occasional Oxyage peel can be like a reset button for the skin, keeping it in peak condition. Many of our clients incorporate Oxyage as part of their seasonal skincare maintenance – for instance, one peel every few months to continuously stimulate cell renewal.

During your consultation, we’ll ensure your skin is suitable for an Oxyage peel. If you currently have very active acne, we might treat that first (perhaps with our Blemiskin peel or other methods) before moving to Oxyage for scarring/brightening.

We are based in Bedford Town, Bedfordshire and Leicester City Centre, Leicestershire.

    • Preparation & Cleansing: We prep your skin for the peel. Your face will be thoroughly cleansed to remove oils, makeup, and impurities. We’ll then apply a prep solution; often this is an alcohol or acetone-based solution that ensures your skin is completely oil-free. (TCA peels penetrate best on degreased skin.) This step might make your skin feel a bit cool or have a chemical smell briefly – that’s normal. We might also protect sensitive areas with a bit of petroleum jelly (for example, the corners of your eyes, nose, and mouth) to prevent the solution from pooling there.

    • Peel Application: We evenly apply the Mesopeel MD Oxyage solution to your face. Because Oxyage is a strong peel we typically apply it in a single layer first and gauge your skin’s reaction. You will likely feel a warming sensation as the peel goes to work – it can be a tiny bit intense, but it is temporary. You may notice your skin starting to frost or turn white in some areas – this is a known effect of TCA as it reacts with proteins in the skin. The lack of heavy frosting is actually a sign that the peel is penetrating without excessively damaging the surface. After about 2-3 minutes, the initial sting usually subsides. We may decide to apply a second layer for deeper impact if your skin tolerates it (this is done on a case-by-case basis). Most treatments involve 1-2 passes of the peel.

    • Penetration Time: We allow the Oxyage solution to sit for a few minutes. During this time, the combination of TCA and hydrogen peroxide is stimulating your dermis (the deeper layer) to kickstart collagen production and renewal, while kojic acid is working on pigmentation. You might feel tightening as the solution dries. We continuously observe your skin. The entire application and wait process is short – roughly 5-10 minutes in total.

    • Neutralization and Removal: One of the interesting things about Oxyage (like some modern TCA peels) is that the hydrogen peroxide component helps neutralize the acid during the process.

    • Post-Peel Care & Soothing: After neutralising, we focus on calming and nourishing your skin. We may apply a post-peel mask or serum rich in antioxidants and hydration (some contain ingredients like aloe vera, chamomile, or vitamin C to soothe and boost radiance). Then, we’ll generously apply a moisturizer to restore moisture, and top it off with a high-SPF sunscreen to shield your treated skin from UV rays. Before you leave, we’ll review the at-home care instructions.

    • What You’ll Feel After: Immediately post-peel, your face will feel tight and maybe a bit warm. You’ll have a noticeable rosy glow (some clients love this, as it looks like a post-facial flush). You shouldn’t feel any more stinging at this point – if anything, maybe a mild sensitivity. Over the next few hours, the pinkness usually subsides into a light tan tone as the peeled skin starts its process. You might not see much peeling on Day 1 or 2, just some dryness. By Days 3-4, expect light flaking or peeling, especially around areas like the mouth and cheeks – it can vary.

  • Single Oxyage Peel Session – £95: This covers your consultation, the full treatment, and post-care advice. You get the benefit of a medical-grade anti-aging peel at an accessible price point.

Course of 3 Peels – £255: We offer the option to pre-book a package of three treatments for £255 (this saves you £30 versus paying per session). Many clients opt for 3 sessions over 6 weeks for significant improvement.

Series of 5 Peels – £430 (Biggest saving)

  • Oxyage is considered a medium-depth peel, but thanks to its innovative formula, the downtime is manageable. Expect your skin to look slightly sunburned the day of and day after the peel – some redness or a tanned appearance, and your skin will feel tight. Significant peeling (actual visible skin shedding) usually starts around 48-72 hours after the peel. It often appears as flaking around the mouth and nose first, then the cheeks and forehead. The peeling is typically light to medium – you might have small sheets of skin or more likely patchy flaking. By day 5-7, most of the peeling is done. Many clients schedule this peel at the end of the week so they can have the weekend to themselves during the peak peeling (days 3-4). However, downtime is subjective; some people peel very little (just mild flaking), especially if their skin was well-prepped or it’s not their first peel. Either way, you can usually continue your routine – just with some extra moisturizers and avoiding social events on the peeliest days. Importantly, do not force or pick at the peeling skin; let it come off naturally to avoid any scarring or discoloration. By day 7-10, you should be fully peeled or have just faint dryness in a few areas, and you can fully enjoy the new glow.

  • We often recommend a package of 3 Oxyage peels spaced about 3-4 weeks apart. This schedule allows each peel to build upon the last – you get cumulative improvement in collagen stimulation and pigment reduction. After 3 sessions, clients often see a marked difference: for example, significant brightening of dark spots and improvement in fine lines. In more severe cases of sun damage or scarring, up to 5 sessions might be recommended, again spaced out over several months. Keep in mind, we can also alternate Oxyage with other treatments if suitable.

  • The word “hurt” is strong – we’d say it’s more of an intense sensation rather than pain, and it’s very short-lived. When the solution is first applied, you’ll feel a stinging or burning feeling on the skin. Clients often describe it as 2-3 out of 10 on a discomfort scale – noticeable but bearable. It might make your eyes water a little bit (just from the intensity, even if we avoid the eye area). The good news is, this sensation usually peaks in the first minute or two, then eases up. By the time we neutralize the peel, most of the sting is gone.

  • Oxyage can be performed on many skin tones, but caution is key. Darker skin has more melanin and a higher risk of PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) after any procedure. The presence of kojic acid in Oxyage is beneficial – it’s a melanin inhibitor that helps prevent pigmentation issues while we peel. We have successfully treated clients with moderately dark skin with Oxyage, but we usually take a conservative approach: perhaps applying a single layer instead of two, or leaving it on for a slightly shorter time. We will likely insist on a good prep routine and diligent sun protection before and after. If you have very dark skin or a history of PIH, we might suggest an alternative peel with gentler ingredients or a series of milder peels that achieve a similar outcome over time.
